6.El salon de mi casa(Palma de Mallorca,Spain) |
|
It is a living room of my house in Spain.
This apartment is very gorgeous and antique which is more than 100 years old.
It's really large.
The ceiling is very high and the wall between my room and the next room is very thick ,it's more than 30 centimeters.
It's warm in winter, and cool in summer.
In this living room, I invite friends, have a party, eat supper and spend most of daily life here.
I get various inspirations to draw pictures and write something, sitting on the sofa.
I could make a lot of gorgeous works, surrounded with the gorgeous.
Environment is reflected into works.
It is very important for artists to keep sense refined ,surrounded with something elegant, noble minded people, splendid artists, and intellectuals.
Unfortunately, such kind of life is almost impossible in U.S.A..
My BGM is,however,Jazz Music, while I am staying here.
My house and furnitures are Spanish antique.
My music is American.
My brain is "made in Japan".
My friends, who give me a lot of information, are from Spain, Japan, England, USA, Germany and so on.
My meals are mutinational.
My resort is the Mediterranean Sea.
I think I'm greedy enough to choose only good parts from various countries.
I learn paintings in Spain. And I learn Jazz in USA.
I think it is important to learn something in the place where it was born, the place you can believe to be the home.I mean some place like Mecca.
For example, to learn paintings in Japan means to learn Karate in Spain to me.
There are a lot of know and hows in long history in the place where it was born.
I wanted to be a Master, so I chose the place which I could call "the home".
It was incredible for a Japanese woman of 100 years ago to live a life as such.
I was lucky and I thank for having been born in Japan of the present times.
I sometimes feel myself as a woman of globalization. |
