The chocolate in Spain is liquid like mud.
It's served with a spoon.You have to eat and drink it.
In Madrid, they soak deep frying cakes called CHURROS into this chocolate and eat them as breakfast.
Ensaimada is bread of Mallorca as a noted product.Butter is not used in it.
Guess what it is made from?
It is bread made from fat of pigs.
Mallorca has the sad history that had been occupied from old days by foreigners.
When it was occupied in old days by Muslims, I hear it began with the history that the local inhabitants made bread (from fat of pigs) against them which Muslims could not eat .
It's an irony in hstory,isn't it?
Now ensaimada is the most popular product in Mallorca.
In the photo, you can see an ensaimada con albaricoque, in which many slices of apricots are used luxuriously.
I guess it is more delicious than apricot jam, and I really love it.
